The recorded 77 crude oil storages reflect China¡¯s ¡°three level oil reserve system¡± by including the State Strategic Oil Reserve Bases, Commercial Oil Reserve Bases and smaller-sized regional oil storages. Besides the storages, the map also records 101 oil ports/offshore spms, and divides them into two categories by sizes (above and below 300,000 tons).
China¡¯s State Strategic Crude Oil Reserve Bases: 12 selected bases are located in Zhenhai, Zhoushan, Dalian, Huangdao, Dushanzi, Shanshan, Lanzhou, Zhanjiang, Huizhou, Jintan and Jinzhou. Their total storage volume is 53.4 million cubic meter.
